ABSENTEE VOTING

Absentee Voting in the August 11th Primaries? It's as easy as 1, 2, 3,... 4!

1. Mark your ballot carefuly!
Unlike a polling place, you cannot get a new ballot if you make a mistake. Make sure the ovals are filled in properly. Did you get your absentee ballot application in the mail? If so, great! If not, go online and print it out here.

2. Insert your completed ballot into the inner envelope, seal it, and then sign your name on the same with the 'X' on the outside of the envelope.
This is very important, if the inner envelope is not signed the ballot cannot be counted.

3. Place the inner envelope inside the outer mailing envelope and seal it.
For this election, the outer envelopes will not require postage.

4. Drop the postage paid envelope in the nearest mailbox, or in the secure drop box for your municipality.
Each city or town will have at least one secure drop box, located near town hall. Check your local website for exact locations.

Congratulations! You voted! Be sure to return your ballot to the Town Clerk as quickly as possible so it arrives before the Election on November 3rd. Check the status of your ballot here.
