Sam Nestor

Sam is currently serving her third term as First Selectwoman in Weston, where she lives with her husband, Mike, and their two teenage boys, Finn, a college sophomore, and Gavin, a high school freshman. As First Selectwoman, Sam has worked collaboratively with all the towns in the 26th District through the Western Council of Governments (WESTCOG), building a keen understanding of their shared strengths and concerns, as well as their unique needs.

Sam began her career in public service in 2017, when she was first elected to Weston’s Board of Education, and then to the Board of Selectmen. In 2021, she ran for and was elected First Selectwoman of Weston. Sam’s leadership, in her nearly three terms in office, has been transformative. She has brought over $36 million in grants to the Town, allowing her to complete long-imagined projects throughout Weston.
