Rep. Dathan to recount Government Oversight Committee’s first year

Rep. Lucy Dathan, 142nd District, and co-chair of the Government Oversight Committee, will present an overview of the work accomplished by the General Assembly’s newest committee at the New Canaan Library June 9 beginning at 6 p.m. The session will be held in the library’s Tate Conference Room.

The committee has responsibility for overseeing various state activities, such as The Freedom of Information Commission, Office of State Ethics, Citizens Ethics Advisory Board and State Elections Enforcement to name a few areas of the new committee’s responsibilities. Dathan will speak to attendees about what areas the Committee addressed and actions it took.
